The time has finally come to crown the regional winners of Sweden’s largest competition for startups and business ideas.
On 17 May, it’s time for the East Regional Final of STARTUP 2022, where we gather Sweden’s entrepreneurial elite at KTH Innovation’s premises to celebrate tomorrow’s startup stars.
An evening in true entrepreneurial spirit!
Doors open at 17:00 and the evening starts with mingling where the opportunity to make new, important contacts has never been greater. Then the stage will be taken by none other than Viktor Maisey, a practicing entrepreneur who, according to him, has learned a lot from making “mistakes”! He promises an evening packed with laughter, applause, energy and great meetings.
Of course, there will also be an awards ceremony to crown the regional winners. The 10 entries will compete for the Best Traction, Beyond Academic, Game Changer and Impact Maker prizes, which come with a cash prize of no less than SEK 50,000 each. The winning entries will go on to a Swedish final this autumn, where they will compete not only for the prizes mentioned but also for the prestigious Startup of the Year award.
At the Eastern Regional Final, we have two additional prizes, namely the Flemingsberg Science Award and the Hedy Tech Impact Award. The Flemingsberg Science Award is for startups with a clear connection to Flemingsberg, either as a student, resident or otherwise active to the area.
The winner of this award will win 10 000 SEK. The Hedy Tech Impact Award is given to the entry that has a clear vision, with a business idea with great potential and with a focus on sustainability.
The winner of the Hedy Tech Impact award will win 50 hours of work by Hedy Tech’s team of full stack developers, tech architects and UX/UI designers, focusing on tech strategy and programming based on the company’s needs, a value of approximately 55 000 SEK.
During the evening you will also be treated to great food, drinks, entertainment and first class networking. The event is free but with limited places, so secure your place now! Read more about the event or register directly here!
