“TechChill 2022 Expo Zone will host 20 of Latvia’s brightest start-ups

The Investment and Development Agency of Latvia (LIAA) in cooperation with “TechChill” is creating a special Expo zone where 20 early-stage Latvian start-ups will have the opportunity to present themselves. They responded to the invitation to apply, but were selected from 31 start-ups because they were better and more prepared to present themselves to an international audience.

The selected start-ups offer solutions in different sectors. There are tools that enable companies to work more efficiently through artificial intelligence. For example, Pitch Patterns offers to analyse a large number of sales calls to make them more efficient. E-commerce is a hot topic – representatives of Sell.xyz, which recently announced a €1.5 million investment round, will be at the Expo Zone. The start-up environment will also be represented by companies that have been working on improving their products for some time. VReach, for example, is continuing its work on a virtual reality solution that could be used in the rehabilitation of autistic patients. Vigo.Health, a digital assistant for stroke rehabilitation, which has just been awarded a special prize for medical innovation of the year, will also be present in the Expo area.

“During TechChill, we also invite you to visit the Magnetic Latvia Startup stand, where various activities are planned for both days of the conference. Visitors will have the opportunity to receive consultations on the types of support offered by LIAA for start-ups, as well as to hear the stories of start-ups,” says Anna Elsa Karika, Head of the Innovation and Technology Department, Start-up Support Division, LIAA.

The 20 early-stage start-ups that will be on display in the Expo Zone, which was created in cooperation with LIAA, are Pitchpatterns.com, Sell.xyz, VReach, Hyperjob, Peero, sebelo, Got Foods, Rhino, Vigo.Health, Kedeon, BeTRITON, CopyMonkey, BeeSage, Abillio, PrintOnPack.com, Trafolo, Biorefic, Corebook.io, Skin Bliss and Simple Charge.

TechChill, the international conference taking place from 27-29 April 2022 in Riga’s Hansa Perona, will bring together 2,000 entrepreneurs, technology experts, investors and international media. The Entrepreneurs’ Forum programme will see 100 international speakers discuss technology trends, business success stories and inspiration on two parallel stages over two days. However, the actual number of face-to-face participants will be adapted to the epidemiological constraints in force at the time. For more information and updates: techchill.co
