Start-ups: Deadline for Elevate Greece applications extended

New extension of applications for the “Elevate Greece” start-up support action until 29 October 2021. A new decision has been published to extend the deadline for online funding applications to the “Elevate Greece” National Register Start-up Business Support Action to address the Covid-19 pandemic. The new deadline for submitting funding applications is Friday 29 October 2021 at 15:00 instead of Wednesday 20 October 2021 at 15:00.

It is recalled that the action aims to enhance the entrepreneurship and liquidity of start-up/innovative SMEs (operating in Smart Specialization/RIS3 sectors) of the National Registry of Start-ups “Elevate Greece”, under the adverse conditions of the COVID-19 crisis, which was exacerbated by the prolonged outbreak of the disease in the affected CDCs. The aid will take the form of a non-repayable grant (working capital) to ensure that the businesses remain viable and that no jobs are lost.

The action is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of the European Union and national resources.

6,944 self-employed lawyers have joined the action

Meanwhile, the fourth amendment to the decision on the inclusion of funding applications under the “Grant for self-employed lawyers” action was published today, concerning the inclusion of an additional 1,344 funding applications for a total public expenditure of EUR 2,472,448.06.

The total number of projects included in the action amounts to 6,944. The total public expenditure amounts to EUR 12 693 988,32.

In addition, the fifth decision rejecting applications for funding under the above-mentioned action was published, concerning the rejection, as ineligible, of 206 applications for funding for a total public expenditure of EUR 376 867.93, due to incomplete supporting documents and/or failure to meet the formal conditions for participation in the action.

Applicants whose applications for funding are rejected by this decision may alternatively either submit a new application for funding by 29/10/2021 or submit an objection within an exclusive period of 10 calendar days from the day following the date of notification, by e-mail to the e-mail address indicated in the application for funding.

Please note that in the event of an objection, the right to submit a new application for funding will cease to exist.
