Finland’s Superhero Capital and Verge HealthTech Fund were also involved in the round.

Shen.AI, is a technology from MX Labs which, uses only a smartphone or computer with a camera to measure heart rate, heart rhythm and blood pressure. The entire study is done through a one-minute facial scan.

What will MX Labs use the money for?

More vital signs will soon be available in the app, including mental and behavioral health indicators, and others related to cardiovascular disease. The company will offer the new features to its first customers later this year.

– In addition to our current Shen.AI features, which mainly focus on cardiovascular health, we plan to add new features such as emotional state detection, providing early diagnosis of mental health conditions and disorders. Besides, we will also invest in new high-quality data acquisition, external cooperation with scientific institutions and medical certification,” Przemek Jaworski, co-founder and CTO of MX Labs, told tech.eu.

Shen.AI is now available on Heart Monitor, a mobile app for cardiovascular health monitoring and hypertension detection, available on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and soon on CheckBP.com. Heart Monitor has been downloaded by more than 80,000 people worldwide.
