The 6-week online program exclusively for Greek startup founders worldwide is coming dynamically in the innovation space.
European Startup Universe Greece is a non-profit program, which gives Greek tech startups the opportunity to network for free with each other, but especially with the brightest minds in the diaspora – established founders, well-known investors, great business advisors and experts – through national online programmes.
On 20 January, applications officially opened for the European Startup Universe, which runs simultaneously in 11 countries for 6 weeks from the beginning of March until April 2022. Teams applying will have the opportunity to participate in workshops, funding opportunities and weekly live Q&A sessions with experienced startup founders and investors.
They will also have access to educational materials, community interaction through forums, and various offers and discounts. Finally, there are plans to hold 30-minute one-on-one meetings with Greek-origin professionals in each industry (business developers, marketeers, lawyers, etc.) to offer their expertise in areas such as initial product development, communications, sales and financing strategies.
After the completion of the programme, there will be an opportunity for some of the start-up founders selected to talk to angel investors who want to invest in the respective sectors. The online calls with angel investors will take place in April-May 2022. The aim of the programme is to support young entrepreneurs, but also to empower female entrepreneurship in the start-up ecosystem.
