Eschatology Entertainment Secures €10.2 Million to Fuel Game Development

Nicosia, Cyprus – Eschatology Entertainment, a rising game development studio, has successfully secured €10.2 million in funding to accelerate the final stages of their upcoming title. This investment round, led by KRAFTON and joined by GEM Capital and The Games Fund, marks a significant milestone for the studio.

Founded in 2022 by industry veterans Fuad Kuliev, Dmytro Kostiukevych, Boris Nikolaev, and Viktor Antonov, Eschatology Entertainment has quickly gained attention for its experienced team. The studio boasts talent from top gaming companies like Valve, Wargaming, and 4A Games. With team members who have contributed to iconic titles like Half-Life 2, Dishonored, and World of Tanks, the studio is poised to make a strong impact in the gaming world.

The latest funding will support the development of their highly anticipated Souls-like first-person shooter (FPS) set in an Apocalyptic Wild West. This crucial capital injection will enable the team to complete critical development stages and ensure the smooth production and timely release of the game.

This round of investment also sees GEM Capital increasing its stake in the company, underscoring their confidence in the studio’s potential. With the new funds, Eschatology Entertainment plans to establish a publishing team, reflecting their long-term vision beyond just this initial project.

Eschatology Entertainment’s first project is now in its most active production phase, following the successful completion of pre-production and a showcase vertical slice. The studio is set to deliver a high-quality game experience, bringing their ambitious vision of an alternative apocalyptic Wild West to life.

“This investment goes beyond financial support; it’s about partnering to create a rich, immersive world with history and tough challenges,” said Fuad Kuliev, co-founder of Eschatology Entertainment. “With KRAFTON’s backing and continued collaboration with GEM Capital and The Games Fund, we’re fully equipped to bring our vision to fruition.”

Maria Park, KRAFTON’s VP and Head of Corporate Development, expressed excitement about the partnership, stating, “Eschatology Entertainment has an exciting future, and we’re thrilled to support their innovative ideas. This aligns perfectly with KRAFTON’s mission to scale up creative talent and bring their work to a global audience.”

With this strategic investment, Eschatology Entertainment is on track to make a notable entry into the gaming industry with its debut project, setting the stage for future successes.
