OneClickComply, a fast-growing Sunderland-based cybersecurity company that provides a “one click fix” to help businesses comply with security standards, has raised £1 million to support its further expansion, bringing its total raised to date to over £2.4 million.
The Round
The company secured investment from the North East Accelerate Fund, managed by Mercia Ventures, and from the Venture Sunderland Fund and Northstar EIS Growth Fund, both managed by Northstar Ventures.
Connor Greig, co-founder and CEO of OneClickComply, framed the problem the company is solving: “Every business now gets asked to prove its systems are secure, usually by a customer who’s about to sign. The answer shouldn’t be three months and a consultant. We automate 90% of the work, fix the issues we find instead of just reporting them, and keep everything in place afterwards, which is the part everyone forgets about. That’s why we’ve doubled revenue in six months — because this problem isn’t going anywhere.”
Owen Conquest from Mercia Ventures added: “OneClickComply offers a unique value proposition through its ability to automatically detect and remediate data compliance issues without the need for specialist intervention. This investment will support the company’s continued growth, enabling it to capitalise on the increasing demand for automated compliance solutions driven by strong regulatory and market tailwinds.”
Tom O’Neill, Investment Manager at Northstar Ventures, said: “We’re very pleased to support OneClickComply with further investment from our Venture Sunderland Fund and EIS Growth Fund. The business has grown significantly since our initial investment and it is tapping into an increasingly complex compliance and cyber security market where the risks of a breach or non-compliance are continuously rising. Congratulations to Connor and the team.”
The Technology
OneClickComply can automate up to 90% of the work involved in achieving standards such as Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, or SOC 2. Its platform continuously monitors IT systems, automates processes such as penetration testing and vulnerability management, generates policies, and gathers information for auditors.
The platform can automatically configure security settings across programs such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and AWS with a single click — removing what is otherwise a laborious manual process. Once certification has been achieved, the platform detects and fixes any issues that arise to ensure ongoing compliance, rather than simply flagging them for someone else to resolve.
The Company
OneClickComply was launched in 2024 by Connor Greig, who identified the need to simplify cyber compliance during his previous role working with businesses within the Octopus Group. The company now employs 12 staff and serves dozens of customers, ranging from a leading fast food brand to solo traders.
OneClickComply has doubled its monthly recurring revenue over the past six months and aims to achieve similar growth over the six months ahead.
Use of Funds
The new funding will enable the business to further enhance its technology, boost sales and customer service, and create four new jobs.
