Stockholm-based BRYM has raised €650,000 (approximately $750,000) in a pre-seed funding round to accelerate the development of its wearable EEG technology designed to improve cognitive performance.
The round was led by Lotus One Investment, with participation from early-stage venture capital firm Antler. The fresh capital will support product development and help the company bring its neurotechnology platform closer to commercial adoption.
Turning Brain Signals Into Actionable Insights
BRYM is developing a wearable electroencephalography (EEG) solution that measures brain activity in real time to provide users with insights into their cognitive performance.
Rather than focusing solely on clinical applications, the startup aims to make brain monitoring more accessible for everyday use, enabling individuals and organizations to better understand attention, mental workload, fatigue, and overall cognitive function.
The company believes wearable neurotechnology can become an important tool for improving human performance across professional, educational, and high-performance environments.
Growing Interest in NeuroTech
Advances in sensors, artificial intelligence, and signal processing are fueling renewed interest in wearable brain-computer technologies. Startups in the NeuroTech space are increasingly exploring how EEG data can be used outside hospitals, supporting applications ranging from wellness and productivity to workplace safety and performance optimization.
As hardware becomes more compact and algorithms more sophisticated, investors are paying closer attention to companies developing practical, consumer-friendly brain monitoring solutions.
Investor Backing
The pre-seed round was led by Lotus One Investment, with Antler joining as an investor. The funding will allow BRYM to continue refining its technology, expand product development, and validate additional use cases for its wearable EEG platform.
The investment also reflects growing confidence in startups operating at the intersection of neuroscience, wearable devices, and artificial intelligence.
Previously Covered by Startup Mafia PRO
Startup Mafia PRO first featured BRYM in April 2025, identifying the Stockholm startup as an emerging player in Europe’s NeuroTech ecosystem.
With fresh funding now secured, the company is positioned to further develop its vision of making real-time brain monitoring a practical tool for enhancing cognitive performance beyond traditional clinical settings.
