Anna Group, the company behind ANNA App, has received an additional SEK 5 million (€440K, $510K) from investors Tommy Jacobson and Karl-Johan Persson. The duo had previously invested SEK 4 million, bringing their total investment to SEK 9 million.
The App
ANNA App is a digital platform for parents and relatives of children and young people with NPF challenges — neuropsychiatric disabilities such as ADHD and autism. The app was launched in March 2026 and brings together community, editorial content, digital tools, and AI-based support. The topic is particularly timely in Sweden right now, partly thanks to SVT’s drama series Diagnoser.
The Traction
Without spending a single penny on marketing, the app has surpassed 10,000 registered users in six months. Founder Anna Hegestrand sees this as proof the product fills a real need: “Reaching 10,000 users entirely through organic growth is a strong testament that we have hit the right note with the product. With the new investment, we are moving from proving demand to building a long-term sustainable and scalable business.”
What’s Next
The new capital will go toward product development, commercialization, and continued growth. In September, the company launched its first paid services, so its free offering is now complemented by premium features and partnerships. The next phase for Anna Group is converting its engaged user base into recurring revenue.
Tommy Jacobson explained the investment thesis behind backing that next phase: “Anna Group has built an engaged user base within a clearly defined target group in a short time and shown that demand exists. The next step is to show that this relationship can also be converted into a scalable business. With the premium offering in place, there are now opportunities to build recurring revenue and continue to grow.”
