Hamburg-based startup Logicc has raised €2.5 million in a Seed round to bring secure, compliant AI solutions to industries where data sensitivity has historically slowed adoption.
The round included backing from 10X Founders Fund, Redstone, and MS&AD, alongside strategic angel investors.
AI for the Most Risk-Averse Sectors
While AI adoption is accelerating across industries, sectors like legal, healthcare, and the public sector remain cautious due to strict data protection requirements.
Logicc is targeting exactly this gap — building an AI platform designed from the ground up for compliance-heavy environments.
Founded in 2025 by Emil Woermann, Jacob Leffers, Benjamin Seifert, and Santiago Martinez-Avial, the company enables professionals such as lawyers, doctors, tax advisors, and public institutions to safely use AI tools.
Built for Compliance from Day One
Logicc differentiates itself through a security-first architecture:
- Full GDPR compliance
- Alignment with German legal standards (including Section 203 StGB)
- Hosting exclusively on German servers
- Zero data retention and zero-knowledge architecture
The platform aggregates leading AI models — including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini — into a single secure interface, alongside industry-specific tools and collaboration features.
Fast Traction in a Growing Market
Despite being founded only in 2025, Logicc has already surpassed €1 million in annual recurring revenue within six months and now serves over 1,800 organisations.
The company plans to use the new funding to expand its platform capabilities and scale its go-to-market efforts, with an ambitious goal of increasing revenue tenfold over the next year.
Riding the Wave of Secure AI
Logicc’s funding comes amid a broader surge in investment into AI startups focused on regulated sectors, including companies like Recare, Blockbrain, and Cognee in Germany, as well as Orbital and Lawhive in the UK.
Together, these companies reflect a clear trend: investors are increasingly backing AI solutions that can meet strict regulatory, privacy, and governance requirements.
Making AI Safe Enough to Use
Logicc’s core thesis is simple — AI adoption in sensitive sectors has never been about capability, but about trust.
By embedding compliance into the foundation of its platform, the company aims to unlock AI for industries that, until now, have had the most to gain — and the most to lose.
