Vilnius-based cybersecurity startup CBRX has raised €540,000 in pre-seed funding to accelerate its expansion across Europe and enhance its AI-driven platform for managed service providers (MSPs). The round saw participation from Coinvest Capital, Scalewolf, Plug and Play Tech Center, and Firstpick.
Founded with the mission to make cybersecurity accessible to every IT provider, CBRX enables MSPs to transition into managed security service providers (MSSPs) without heavy upfront costs or extensive in-house expertise. Its cloud-based platform automates key security functions — from threat monitoring and incident response to customer communication — allowing providers to launch cybersecurity services within days.
“This investment round allows us to accelerate what we already see as an inevitable market shift — traditional MSPs moving into cybersecurity,” said Kazimieras Sadauskas, CEO of CBRX. “We help them do that quickly, without complex infrastructure or hiring large expert teams, so they can start serving clients today.”
Leading the round, Coinvest Capital contributed €270,000 — its 80th investment to date. Managing Director Viktorija Trimbel said the firm was drawn to CBRX’s potential to democratize cybersecurity for small and mid-sized businesses across Europe.
“CBRX’s solution enhances resilience against growing digital threats while making advanced protection available to all,” Trimbel noted. “We believe the company can become a key player in Europe’s cybersecurity ecosystem.”
The startup plans to use the funding to strengthen its footprint in the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and the Nordics, while expanding its team with AI and product development talent. Upcoming updates to the platform will focus on deeper automation and reducing human error in cybersecurity workflows.
As digital threats continue to rise across Europe, CBRX’s approach — combining automation, accessibility, and affordability — positions it as a vital enabler for IT providers navigating the cybersecurity shift.
