Swedish startup Ivy Interactive has raised €917,000 in pre-seed funding to accelerate its mission of making internal tool development faster and more efficient for developers. The round was led by Stockholm-based Luminar Ventures, backing Ivy’s vision of combining developer expertise with AI to streamline custom tool creation.
Founded in early 2025 by Niels Bosma (ex-Offerta, Tessin) and Renco Smeding (founder of 21-Draw), Ivy is building an AI-powered platform that helps developers quickly build internal software—like CRMs and CMSs—that are often delayed or deprioritized due to limited resources.
Unlike many no-code solutions, Ivy is not aimed at replacing developers. Instead, it’s designed to amplify their productivity, allowing them to launch fully integrated, production-grade tools in a matter of hours or days, not months. The platform writes clean code that fits directly into a company’s tech stack, reducing dependency on external services or slow in-house builds.
“With Ivy, a skilled developer can become significantly more effective and lead the AI revolution within their organisation,” said Bosma, co-founder and CEO. “It’s about creating synergies, not shortcuts.”
The investment will fuel Ivy’s product development and hiring ahead of its public launch planned for this summer. The company is already onboarding early users and positioning itself as a core productivity engine for tech teams in fast-moving or enterprise environments.
“Ivy enables rapid development and smart customization of back-office solutions,” said Jacob Key of Luminar Ventures. “We’re excited to support a team with such strong founder-market fit and bold vision.”
As AI adoption grows across the software development landscape, Ivy joins a wave of Stockholm startups betting on developer-centric AI tools—aiming to reshape how internal systems are built and maintained.
