ZURICH, Switzerland — Ahead Health, a Swiss preventive healthcare startup, has secured €8.7 million ($10 million)in fresh funding to accelerate its European expansion and broaden access to AI-powered preventive health screening.
The investment was led by venture capital firms 3VC and RTP Global and coincides with the company’s launch in Germany and the Netherlands, marking its first expansion beyond Switzerland.
The funding follows a €5.1 million investment announced earlier in 2026, highlighting strong investor confidence in the company’s vision of transforming preventive healthcare through technology and personalized medicine.
Reinventing Preventive Healthcare
Founded in 2024 by former Google executives, physicians, and HealthTech entrepreneurs, Ahead Health is building a digital platform designed to shift healthcare from reactive treatment to proactive disease prevention.
Its service combines advanced blood testing, whole-body MRI scans, and an AI-powered health platform that integrates laboratory results, imaging, and personal medical history into a comprehensive doctor-reviewed assessment.
Rather than providing isolated test results, the platform delivers personalized health insights and long-term monitoring designed to detect subtle health changes before symptoms develop.
AI-Powered Personalized Health Monitoring
Ahead Health’s technology tracks an individual’s health over time instead of relying on one-time medical checkups.
By comparing new health data with each person’s own historical baseline, the platform aims to identify early indicators of diseases including cardiovascular conditions, cancer, brain disorders, and endometriosis, enabling earlier intervention and more informed clinical decisions.
The company says its complete health assessment—including blood tests and full-body MRI—can be completed in approximately 30 minutes, with results delivered through a fully digital experience and accompanied by a personalized prevention plan reviewed by licensed physicians.
Expanding Across Europe
With the new funding, Ahead Health is entering Germany, beginning with services in Munich, while also opening a waiting list ahead of its full launch in the Netherlands.
Instead of building its own medical facilities, the company is partnering with existing clinics, radiology centers, and healthcare professionals to deliver preventive services through local medical infrastructure.
The rollout begins with comprehensive blood testing, covering metabolic health, cardiovascular risk, inflammation markers, and organ function. Advanced imaging services, including MRI, are expected to follow shortly after launch.
Growing Demand for Preventive Medicine
Since launching in Switzerland, Ahead Health has established a network of more than 20 healthcare partners, reflecting increasing demand for technology-enabled preventive medicine.
CEO and co-founder Nick Lenten said the company has demonstrated that preventive healthcare can be both scientifically rigorous and accessible, with the latest expansion representing the next step toward making proactive health monitoring available across Europe.
Investors See the Future of Digital Prevention
Lead investor 3VC believes preventive healthcare is becoming one of the most important opportunities within digital health.
Partner Peter Lasinger said Ahead Health combines deep technical expertise with a mission-driven approach to fundamentally transform healthcare by detecting disease earlier and helping individuals take action before serious conditions develop.
As healthcare systems increasingly prioritize prevention over treatment, startups combining artificial intelligence, advanced diagnostics, and personalized medicine are attracting significant investor attention.
With fresh funding and international expansion underway, Ahead Health is positioning itself as one of Europe’s emerging leaders in AI-driven preventive healthcare.
