The perfect business laptop doesn’t exist? We test the HP EliteBook x360 1040 G8 and HP Elite Dragonfly Max G2

More and more compact, but at the same time more and more powerful and versatile – this is the direction in which the manufacturers of computer equipment aimed at business customers are heading. After all, business trips and hybrid work have forced employees to be flexible, and modern tools are supposed to support them in their daily duties.

Candidates for the “ideal work computer” title are the HP EliteBook x360 1040 G8 and HP Elite Dragonfly Max G2 – two models with extremely powerful specifications and 11th generation processors. The subassemblies combined with large memory ensure smooth and efficient operation, even when we have several applications running at the same time and multiple browser tabs open.

In these models, the 14-inch (HP EliteBook x360 1040 G8) and 13.3-inch (HP Elite Dragonfly Max G2) screens with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (FHD 1080), whose matte matrix surface ensures comfortable work in any conditions, and reading text on them and watching multimedia is very pleasant, are also certainly worthy of attention. Of course, an invaluable advantage is the screen with a hinge that allows 360° movement, so we can use this equipment as a tablet (especially since we still have the ActivePen pen available).

What else can be said about these computers? The HP laptops offer a long-lasting battery, the ability to use universal power adapters, excellent speakers from Bang & Olufsen, and a camera that offers great image quality, so we fared much better in the eyes of our interlocutors during online meetings. On top of that we have a number of interesting solutions created with user security in mind – including the HP Sure Click feature, which protects the computer from attachments with malware.

You can find out about these and other features of HP laptops in the video, which was created during our editorial tests:
