Stockholm-based Agaton has closed a $10 million seed round to scale its AI-powered platform that helps enterprise sales and contact centre teams extract measurable revenue from customer conversations.
The round was led by Alstin Capital and Inception Fund, with participation from Seed + Speed Ventures, Foundry Ventures, and Aligned Ventures. Angel investors include Sebastian Knutsson (co-founder of King), Peter Sarlin, Lukas Saari, Kieran Flanagan, Guillermo Flor, Anna Mossberg, and Jonas Gejer.
Conversations as competitive intelligence
Founded in stealth just over a year ago, Agaton is built on a straightforward but high-stakes premise: the most valuable data inside any enterprise is not dashboards — it is customer conversations. The company deploys domain-specific AI agents that process sales and service calls at scale, identify patterns, and translate those insights into concrete actions that improve conversion rates and reduce operational waste.
The results so far have been striking. Agaton reports processing over 4 million calls across its existing customer base, helping enterprise teams double sales conversions among top performers and cut quality assurance handling time by as much as 80%. The company also claims 7x year-on-year revenue growth since launch.
Agaton’s current customer portfolio includes some of the largest enterprises in the Nordics — among them Telenor, Telia, Lendo AB, Axo Finans, Academic Work, Allente Nordic, Fjordkraft, and Enevo — as well as its BPO partner Foundever.
Scaling with security at the core
The fresh capital will be used to grow the team, deepen the product, and expand Agaton’s global presence. Enterprise-grade data sovereignty and security are positioned as central to that push — an important differentiator as regulated industries like financial services, telecoms, and utilities come under increasing pressure around how AI handles sensitive customer data.
The company is targeting organisations running large contact centre operations in precisely those verticals, where the volume and commercial value of sales conversations is highest.
Investor conviction
The backing of Alstin Capital and Inception Fund at seed stage, alongside a roster of experienced angel investors from the Nordic and international startup ecosystem, reflects growing investor interest in AI tools that deliver verifiable, near-term ROI rather than long-horizon infrastructure bets.
Agaton is one of several European AI startups operating in the revenue intelligence space, but its focus on domain-specific agents — rather than general-purpose conversation tools — and its early traction with household-name enterprise clients gives it a credible claim to category leadership in the region.
