Over 580 start-ups in the ElevateGreece Registry

More than 580 start-ups have been registered in the National Register during the first month of operation of ElevateGreece, which is the main electronic gateway to the country’s innovation ecosystem.

At the same time, the first advertisements for finding qualified human resources have been published by start-ups registered in the Registry, while the arrival of new members participating as Official Supporters in Elevate Greece is also significant.

On the occasion of the completion of the first month of ElevateGreece’s operation, Mr. Christos Dimas, Deputy Minister of Development and Investment, Member of the Corinthian Parliament, said:

“Today we have completed the first month of operation of ElevateGreece and the messages we receive daily are very positive. The evaluation of potential start-ups and registrations are progressing in record time. There is already a great response and companies have started looking for qualified human resources through ElevateGreece. It is also encouraging that the number of Official Supporters is also increasing, who contribute decisively by providing financial prizes, expertise and access to international innovation networks. Traffic to the site from Greece and abroad is significant, as tens of thousands of users have searched for information. Very soon, with Minister Adonis Georgiades and Deputy Minister Ioannis Tsakiris, we will present a new NSRF action to support start-ups already registered in the Registry.”

It is noted that Elevate Greece is an essential tool for both the State and the stakeholders, businesses and potential investors, as until now there was no official and reliable registration of start-ups in the country.

Now, it is possible to monitor the course that businesses are charting on the basis of critical indicators (KPIs), while at the same time a monitoring system for the entire innovation ecosystem is being created.

Although the current project focuses on start-ups, it is worth noting that it also aims to promote and “network” the entire ecosystem, with the support of the State and the “Official Partners” from the business and institutional sectors.
